Keep Wales Tidy – School Initiative

Fifteen schools in Wales will soon be more wildflower-friendly thanks to a joint initiative by the charity Keep Wales Tidy and Cyngor Gwynedd Council.

Despite some November snow in the mix, this bee-friendly project is now well underway. Each school involved is receiving 20m² of Wildflower Turf® Native Enriched, with the team from Keep Wales Tidy taking on the task of laying the turf.

Over half of the fifteen schools nominated for this project have now received their playground makeovers, and we have some great images to share with you.

The project has been very well received and the schools are looking forward to seeing an explosion of colour in their respective playgrounds, come spring.
