Our Production

Founded in 2003 Wildflower Turf® has pioneered and developed a soil less growing system which has transformed the concept of turf growing

Industry Leading

As an established and respected player in the UK wildflower market, our production revolves around a skilled team of 25 staff over three sites, with an annual capacity to supply over 250,00m² of turf.

With a dedicated in-house research and development team, on-site laboratory and extensive trial facilities, we continue to push boundaries within the landscaping industry when it comes to wildflowers.

With a diverse commercial and private customer base, we supply to landscapers, councils, garden designers, landscape contractors, landscape architects, and educational establishments.

Our products have a wide range of uses in garden, landscape and built environment projects, and possess an impressive set of green credentials.

Whether it be a traditional wildflower meadow, green roof, or riverbank project, Wildflower Turf® has firmly established itself as a significant contributor to the environment through its ecological benefits, aesthetic qualities and ability to absorb carbon.

Our enhanced growing medium, Meadowscape Pro™, is now 100% peat-free. Enriched with Hydropor™, the specially developed formula supports good water percolation and retention, stabilising the growing medium for much better seed germination compared to more conventional direct seeding.

Wildflower Turf Ltd is currently working with a number of high-profile organisations to create wildlife-friendly environments for species such as bees, butterflies, voles and slow worms, with projects in place with Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, The Environment Agency and Natural England.

Additionally, numerous councils throughout the UK have used Wildflower Turf® and Meadowscape Pro™ to improve the parks and open spaces within their remit.

We also work closely with a distributor for Benelux, who have been Accredited with us since 2014.

Our turf is also specified by landscape architects for both green roof and landscaping projects, as a simple way of guaranteeing a wildflower meadow and bringing associated ecological benefits.
