Spring Training Day

We are hosting another dedicated day for Councils-only in spring 2023.

Scheduled for Wednesday, 19th April, the day will be held at our Hampshire Head office & production site near Basingstoke.

So what can you expect from a training day?

The day itself runs from 9:30am – 4:00pm and begins with an introduction to wildflowers. We cover the many benefits of wildflowers and discuss different methods of creating wildflower spaces and complete a site assessment. We then move onto a tour of our turf beds, showing off our pioneering soilless growing system along with our R&D Department & Testing Laboratory before leading a useful discussion of technical issues and practical solutions to common problems.

We lay on a delicious buffet lunch and then continue inside with PowerPoint presentations and a hands-on troubleshooting workshop. We will finish the day with a live demonstration of how to install Meadowscape Pro, a demonstration of a maintenance cut & remove, and a Q&A session with our Turf Production team. It is a day packed full of information and group interactivity with limitless tea/coffee/biscuits/cake to keep you going throughout the day!

Paul Bollen, Area Manager (Highways) at Wiltshire County Council had this to say recently about his experience of our training day:

“A really enjoyable day spent in Hampshire with Wildflower Turf Ltd to learn about their Wildflower Turf and growing mediums.

It was a very informative day, with enjoyable presentations on the products, different scenario uses of wildflowers, tour of the facility, demonstrations on how to install their products and examples of how different cutting regimes affect growth heights. Stephanie and Helen really know their wildflowers with a fun flower quiz/exercise at the end of the day.

Highly recommend this course if you have involvement with biodiversity and wildflowers.”

If you would like to join us in April, then please do get in touch. Spaces are limited and, as usual, we expect places to disappear very quickly so don’t delay!

Do give us a call on 01256 771 222 or email Stephanie to book: [email protected].
