We are very excited to announce that we have teamed up with the Living Roofs Academy (Bridgman & Bridgman) and Irrigation Engineers Ltd to deliver face-to-face training this autumn.
Greening up roof space is an obvious quick-win to help with improving biodiversity and mitigating climate change. We believe there is a huge amount of business potential in green roofs as UK environmental regulations focus increasingly on greening our infrastructure.
We have two training dates available in November:
> Wednesday 23rd November
> Thursday 24th November
All Green Roof Training Days will run from 9:30am to 4:00pm at our Hampshire site near Basingstoke.
The day starts with an introduction to green roofs, their history, benefits and current market demand, followed by design considerations and an in-depth look at irrigation kit and techniques. We then move on to a hands-on practical installation session on our simulated green roof ‘rigs’ using sedum and Wildflower Turf® . We conclude the day with troubleshooting and a few illustrative case studies. You will also qualify for a Lantra certificate of attendance.
We lay on a delicious buffet lunch with a constant supply of refreshments throughout the day and delicious cake to complete the afternoon! It is a day packed full of information and group interactivity which will set you up with excellent working knowledge of green roof creation.

The price for the training day and Lantra certification is £299 + VAT per person.
